For the love of great drinks and great destinations

Cheers To 2022
The previous two years I’ve titled this year-end recap, “Suck It 202…” but I’m going to try and be less crotchety about the last 365 days this time around.
I mean, minus a looming recession, grocery bills that leave me broke every month because of inflation, finally catching Covid and a war in Ukraine, it’s been a decent year, right?
But let’s seriously look on the bright side, the severity of Covid seems to be subsiding (knock on wood) plus we got to travel again, go to concerts and festivals and live our lives pretty close to what normal used to be.
That being said, here’s a visual recap of some of my favorite moments of 2022.
The amazing colours of CopenhagenBrus taproom by To ØlArguably one of my favorite parts of Copenhagen was riding bikes to the Reffen Street Food Market and enjoying the sunset with some good eats! Mikkeler also has a tasting room at the market, right by the water. Epic views!I took so many photos of the beautiful architecture and plant life in Copenhagen.Up there with one of the coolest brewery experiences I’ve had is Mikkeller’s beer and BBQ spot, War Pigs, located in the old meat packing district of Copenhagen.
Barcelona, Spain
If you’re in Barci you have to make the uphill trek to Park Guell I didn’t have a lot of time to adventure around Barcelona so my pictures are limited but it’s a beautiful city. I need to go back!
VCBW Festival
Arguably not the most well organized festival, I still had a good time at VCBW this year. Saw a lot of friendly faces and drank some delicious beer.Hamish, head brewer at Parkside Brewery (left) and the man/myth/legend @mega.beerman & yours truly (right)
Always a great time at the Whistler Village Beer Fest. Check out my 20 second(ish) recap HERE.The ALWAYS epic RZR Tour from TAG. See how much fun it is HERE and HERE.The endless views and adventures of Whistler.
The road trip from LAX to Mammoth Lakes has some amazing views and photo ops.Views from the top to the tub at Mammoth Mountain. What’s a road trip without beer (Indian Wells Brewing) and late night hotel room tattoos?
It’s been quite an adventurous year compared to the previous two that had most of us stuck in our houses majority of the time. Let’s hope we all have even more epic adventures in 2023!
Happy New Year to all of you.
Here are a few more of my fav photos I took in 2022….
