Hello Thirsty Explorers and welcome to the blog….

I’m going to be upfront with you, I’m not a great writer or wordsmith, I’m going to (hopefully) get better as time goes on. I’ve contributed on blogs and websites in the past but I’m far from what would be considered a “professional”. (Feel free to send me writing tips and comments on my poor grammar and sentence structure). The purpose of this blog is less about writing and more about sharing some of my adventures with you while adding a dash of humor where I can. (See image below regarding the humor portion. Funny, right?)

I travel a little bit for my day job and, when I get the opportunity, I try to discover new craft beer & breweries and also new trails & adventures. Thirsty Explorers Club started as an Instagram account (@thirstyexplorersclub) where I showcase some of the great beer I drink in the cool places I travel and adventure. But as I’m an amateur photographer (I’ve been paid for photos, does that make me professional??) I take photos of more than just the beer.

That’s the intention of starting this blog, to share the whole story behind the photo. There’s much more to the adventure than just the beer, that’s just the icing on the cake.
